The one thing I say every year is how fast the holidays roll in, and before you know it we will be ringing in 2019. Not sure if it’s age that makes the time by go so fast but somehow I wish we could bottle up something to slow it all down. I am about to celebrate being with my hubs for 13 years and it does seem just like yesterday we met. I remember that first Christmas, not too long after we met, some of our new family traditions began.
Not sure if you’re like me but I sometimes get overwhelmed by the whole getting ready for Christmas ordeal. What to buy, what to prepare for the feast, arranging family plans. While the planning festivities appears to be fun, I am sure you all feel a bit stressed a bit as well. All the holiday home shows with all the amazing ideas for decor, perfect holiday displayed sweets and then there’s the whole decorating the inside, outside and whatever else you decorate.
Then once I settle myself down after a small pre-holiday anxiety attack, I have to remember that everything eventually is done, the family is always fed a beautiful meal and all my holiday preparations have my own personality on it. And we seem to make it feel special year after year.
I kick off the holidays with a super fun outfit from Stein Mart. It still falls in my cute and casual category and who wouldn’t love this bright fun faux fur jacket, mixed with a sparkle skirt for a holiday get together. I also threw in a little bit of my quirky personality as an added bonus as my photographer Korey Howell seems to easily pull out of me on many of our shoots.
I hope you all have a great Christmas and let’s kick off the countdown to Christmas in some great holiday outfits. Hope you like the first one!
