As we count down the days before Christmas I’m sure y’all are trying to figure out what to buy or wrapping up what to buy for your clients. Well, that is exactly what is going on at my house. I have to say that while shopping in stores does have it’s place, I have grown to love shopping online too as a good way to find some of those more unusual gifts. I am trying to be very careful about my budget this year…in fact, I started buying gifts at the end of the summer which has taken a lot of pressure off.
When I shop I typically like to buy separates, but sometimes you need a dress. I love the burned-out velvet accents on this Max Studio dress from Stein Mart. Talk about a super comfortable dress!! And the black faux fur jacket is a perfect compliment to the look for that little extra to take the chill off. This jacket does come in the claret color which might be a nice matching choice as well.
When you have to wear a dress to an event this dress is great for a wedding, brunch party, holiday party and more. I paired it with opaque leggings and burgundy covered sandals to add that fun extra pop of color. My vintage beaded bag finishes off the look to add that little modern whimsy. This dress could easily move into early spring with a light wrap paired with strappy sandals minus the tights. Vintage looking but on trend.
I wish you all happy shopping and fabulous party outfits! Be good friends.
