Now that the hustle and bustle of Christmas is over, I find myself getting ready for the start of a new year, probably like you are as well. I call it my nesting time to embark on a somewhat long list of things I want to do and accomplish for the new year. It’s kind of exciting as we reflect on 2018 with lots of memories, good and some maybe not so good, it is certainly a time of a fresh start. I find myself cleaning out closets, cleaning up old files on my computer, backing up photos for safe digital keeping and general organizing that clears my mind to push forward with new business plans.
I also like to make New Year’s resolutions that are more like a new year’s tagline to live by for the year. Some of my previous resolutions have been, “What If and Why Not”, “Fill Each Day With Opportunity and Memories!” “Work For It”. So not sure what this year will bring but it is always thought out and at the forefront of my mind throughout the year.
As I wind down the last four looks for my collaboration with Stein Mart, I also reflect on how fun this experience has been. It is certainly not something I ever thought I would do, but hey, getting out of your comfort zone even at 58 is a good thing.
This wrap dress and fun faux fur vest is my version of a great New Year’s Eve outfit. A dress that is comfortable, easy to accessorize and always in style. I have another wrap dress in my closet and it will probably stay there for years to come.
I wish you all very wonderful and prosperous 2019. Thanks so much for following my fun. ~Cheryl
