Holiday Romance ~ Lace Skirt - Fashionably Cheryl

Holiday Romance ~ Lace Skirt

December 18th, 2013

Hope you all are having a wonderful holiday so far.  It’s hard to believe 2013 is coming to an end and 2014 will be off and running before we know it.  I wonder what the next year will have in store of us?

If you know me, finding a deal always gets my blood pumping.  As I was shopping for some Christmas gifts I ran across this lace skirt at Burlington Coat Factory for $25.00.  I actually put it back on the rack and talked myself into buying it because I knew I would kick myself later if I didn’t get it and I’m so glad I did.  Whooo!  A gift for me!!

You’ve heard me tell you black is so popular for fall and lace has also been trending for a few seasons too.  The feminine touch of lace is fun to mix with leather, denim and in my case with a classic soft cardigan.  The animal print belt adds another layer of pattern but not too much to over power the lace.  I dug through some of my jewelry and it would be so easy to put a gold necklace with this but decided to add that extra bling in purple to add my much needed pop of color.  The black shoes are a pair I absolutely love and were a gift from my husband for my birthday last year.  Every time I wear them I get tons of compliments.  Cooper, my faithful fashion companion is always a perfect fur accessory it’s funny he is perfectly color-coordinated too!

Add some lace pieces to your wardrobe now because black and lace will trend really strong for spring too.

Thanks so much for reading and hope you have a wonderful Christmas.
