There is nothing better than putting classic black and red together. It’s a perfect color match for Fall. And since red is such a big color pop trend I am right at ease in this outfit when I have a photography shoot or running errands. If you look in my closet red has always been and will be a fav staple color in my wardrobe, always.
In Austin, vests are a great go-to piece to take off the chill (well maybe not this last week…super cold for us) and while it would be easier to put just a black turtleneck with this vest, I opted for a more fun look with the stripes. And the best part is for both sweaters you won’t break the bank. Right at $55 for both pieces from Stein Mart!
I hope you all are planning a great Thanksgiving feast with your loved ones. I am looking forward to our first Thanksgiving with my parents who just moved from Colorado to Texas. It is certainly a celebration after months of me traveling back and forth from Denver since August to help sort, purge, and help pack my parents for the thousand mile drive cross country.
But all that hard work, stress and thoughts of what the heck we thinking subsided when the moving truck pulled into the driveway. For the first time, my side of the family is all in Texas for the first time and we are so looking forward to my hubs amazing turkey, my garlic mashed potatoes and a gluten-free pecan pie. Gobble Gobble!!
