I have to admit, the adrenaline is starting to get the best of me as the start of Fashion Week in New York begins with a long list of shows on my must see list. Traveling to New York in February is yes, a bit challenging, but when you get to see fashion history come down the runway, you get over the fact that the weather is anything but ideal.
While I have been in most of my posts shown you all the outfits I have worn, this trip is actually a work trip for me so no glam photo shoots. I did buy a few new things but honestly it is all about comfort and warmth this time of year. Think of it as fab on the top and not so fab on the bottom paired with boots that will keep my feet dry. Being squished in a press pit for around 30 shows pulling out the fashionable outfits is just not so motivating, but it is sooo fun to watch everyone else!!
Please follow Fashionably Austin, my online magazine, Facebook and Twitter which is where most of the content will be housed. I am also grateful for the sponsors for this season, The Garden Room, Russ and Company Salon, Beauty on the Go and the newest addition, JP Eyewear/Fitovers.
The other challenge, being a classic and timeless woman myself, is trying to interpret the fashions you and I will love come Fall 2014. That’s where I come in. I will share some my favorite trends as I see them through my camera lens I will also be sharing pictures of gals who are also classic and timeless. After all. many of the top female designers and top magazine editors are all over 40.
Hope you have fun with me. Thanks for reading and let’s have a fun fashion week! Enjoy some of my previous pictures I snapped at previous shows below.
